IVP1700CE-USB hardware issues

Part no: IVP1700Ce-USB - Case 6-110883. Question: Hardware having issues?

Customer Issue:
The initial test MKA assets model IVP1700CE-USB (April 2021) works fine with our KVM Vertiv, model SC840.   The revised MKA model IVP1700CE-USB(July 2022) is the hardware that is having issues.  Listed below are problems we are experiencing:
  1. Delayed input and non-response when switching between servers using the KVM
  2. When we plug in an external mouse there is no power available to use the mouse
  3. While using the keyboard and mouse they both stop working sporadically
These are intermittent issues but have occurred often enough to be considered problematic.   In order to get the system responsive, we have to reconnect all USB and power cables on the MKA.   If we direct connect the MKA into the servers, we don’t have any issues.   Any assistance or guidance you can provide is appreciated.

Solutions:
In order to get the system responsive, we have to reconnect all USB and power cables on the MKA.
  1. This happened to another customer before, when using DKM on their KVM switch. The work around is to press the reset button on the KVM to avoid reconnecting cables. Do they have reset feature on their KVM? This happened pretty common so some of KVM have either a reset button or reset command.
  2. Since it’s working when directly connecting to the server, have they tried to use the KVM with any other keyboard and mouse just to rule out the possibility of a bad KVM switch?
