Disconnect the Panel PC from its power source.
Unplug all external cables for safety.
Access the Internal Components
Place the Panel PC on a stable surface.
Remove the rear cover or access panel by unscrewing the screws.
Ground yourself using an anti-static strap or touch a metal surface to discharge static electricity.
Locate the CMOS Battery
Look for a coin-shaped battery (similar to a watch battery, usually CR2032) mounted on the motherboard.
Check the Battery
Visual check: Ensure the battery is clean, free from corrosion, and firmly seated in its holder.
Voltage check (optional): Use a multimeter set to DC voltage. A healthy CMOS battery should measure around 3.0V. If the reading is below 2.5V, replacement is recommended.

If no replacement is needed, reattach the rear cover and secure all screws.
Reconnect power and external cables.
Power on the Panel PC and check if BIOS settings retain date/time.
